"I am a Limited License Master of Social Worker (LLMSW). I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University (Go Broncos) where I majored in Psychology. Later, I received my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan (Go Blue). I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults struggling with difficult life transitions, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and interpersonal conflict.
I use a combination of different evidenced-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychoeducation, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness, and Talk Therapy.
I believe in a strength-based and person-centered approach to therapy, by collaborating together we will find a method of treatment that is tailored to best fit your needs. My goal is to provide my clients with a safe, non-judgmental, and inclusive space to work together on whatever challenges you are facing in your life.
I believe finding a therapist who you feel comfortable with is a crucial part of the therapeutic process. If you are searching for a therapist who is empathetic, caring, a great listener, and throws in a bit of humor here and there, we may be a good fit! I am so happy you are here, and I look forward to meeting you."
