Joseph Petricca, MSW (he/him)

Joseph Petricca completed his bachelor’s in science with a major in Psychology at Eastern Michigan University in 2002. After that, he received his MSW from Loyola University-Chicago in 2007. He has experience working with individuals with complex medical needs, mental health, substance use, behavioral concerns, biopsychosocial barriers, dementia, individual and group therapy, residential step-down programs, health care and case management. 

Joe continues to be an active case manager since 2011. He received his Certified Case Management license in 2014. He works daily to empower and support those that struggle from ongoing concerns related mental health, substance use and/or barriers to resources. 

His areas of interest for treatment are anxiety disorders, ADHD, depressive disorders, severe and persistent mental illness, autism spectrum disorders, behavioral concerns, and adjustment disorders. He uses a multi-modal approach to treatment including: trauma informed practice, evidence-based practice, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, strength’s-based therapy, empowerment, motivational interviewing, and LEAN thinking among others.
