Alexa Lukowski, LLMSW (she/her)

I am a Limited Licensed Social Worker. I obtained my master’s degree in Social Work at Eastern Michigan University. 

I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is culturally sensitive and affirming. Let's face it, there is no one size fits all approach to therapy. I firmly believe it is important to be flexible for what clients may need throughout the therapy journey. I use a blend of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, person centered therapy, and mind-body approaches to support individuals as a whole-person. 

My clinical experience ranges from working with clients who have experienced trauma, substance use disorders, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and grief. Additionally, I also have experience working with the homeless community, individuals within the foster care community and adoption community and community mental health systems. 

My goal is to work with clients and tailor the therapy process to fit the individual needs.
